RTPI and ICE accreditation for MIPAD MSc Programme

By omega centre on Apr 18 in News.

The MIPAD MSc Programme has been accredited by the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) as a ‘specialist’ fourth year for graduate students who have successfully completed an RTPI-accredited three-year undergraduate course (such as the BSc Urban Planning, Design & Management offered at the Bartlett School of Planning). Students with an accredited undergraduate degree will satisfy the academic requirements for RTPI corporate membership by successfully completing this MSc course.

Accreditation of the course by the Joint Board of Moderators, as meeting the further learning requirements for students who have completed undergraduate studies in an approved civil engineering school, is expected to be confirmed shortly. This will enable civil engineering graduates to satisfy the academic requirements for Chartered Engineer status and corporate membership of the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE).

Accreditation by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), for students with a RICS-accredited undergraduate degree, is being progressed.
