OMEGA Workshop #1, London
The OMEGA Centre held its first International Workshop at RIBA, London. Representatives from the Centre’s 9 International Partners presented their Case Studies which will be the focus of primary and secondary data collected according to the overall study methodology. Data will be gathered concerning the treatment of risk, uncertainty and complexity in the planning, appraisal and evaluation of MUTPs, together with information about the performance and impacts of projects, using templates, analytical tools and techniques common to all countries.
Besides providing the data for the 5 year study, the case studies will form an international data base of MUTP profiles in unprecedented depth and global spread that summarize key planning, appraisal, evaluation and performance features to facilitate comparative analysis, lesson-sharing and learning for future planning MUTP exercises.
