OMEGA Centre launched by Christine Hawley, Dean of the Faculty of the Built Environment
The OMEGA Centre was officially launched at UCL on the 23rd January by Prof. Christine Hawley, Dean of the Bartlett Faculty of the Built Environment. The Centre’s overall mission is to identify ‘what constitutes a successful Mega Urban Transport Project (MUTP) in the 21st Century?’ A simple question perhaps, but with many diverse and complex answers. Our research aims to identify generic and context specific lessons and guidelines for the planning, appraisal and evaluation of such projects applicable to practitioners in the field of MUTPs and Major Projects in general.
