OMEGA Centre Consultants have recently announced a tie up with Agilia Infrastructure Partners to provide a ‘boutique’ major infrastructure advisory service. We are very excited by this Collaboration Agreement as we believe that it brings together the best of both organisations to meet the challenges posed by major infrastructure projects.
A particular focus of the Agreement going forward will be in providing independent Assurance to project sponsors and other stakeholders, of ‘where’ and ‘on what’ to focus at each stage in the project cycle if success is to be achieved. All projects are expected to be on time and on budget, but from both Omega and Agilia’s experience the reality of also needing to secure other benefits and deal with the ever changing context within which major infrastructure projects are delivered, is also a major challenge.
With fast moving technology choices, the growing importance of addressing climate change imperatives and of course the political agenda focused more and more on winners and losers, we believe that the Assurance service we plan to provide will be very timely, to give both insight and advice to ensure that these and other concerns are equally under control.
To provide that comfort we will draw on the considerable major project experience of the key players in OMEGA and Agilia, as well as the extensive research output and performance benchmarks that OMEGA itself has delivered/established and of course has a ready access to being part of one of the world’s leading universities in UCL.
As many of the team have held senior roles in major organisations and projects we are also able to provide short term senior development or asset management resource to support a project at critical times in either its initial planning, delivery or asset management phases.
